COMPANY PROFILE
JUUL I FROST ARCHITECTS is an innovative and internationally orientated practice with expertise within architecture, urban planning and landscape architecture. We span a broad professional range and are experts in developing cities and transformation areas, as well as new types of buildings in urban contexts. We approach all our assignments using a dialogue-based method – no matter the scale of the project.

We always engage in an open dialogue with our clients, the authorities and other parties of interest to fully understand all aspects and the given conditions of the assignment at hand. This ensures that we are flexible, approachable and competent for all. Our solutions are always unique – never stocked goods. JUUL I FROST Architects are organized in three units:

CITY + SPACE + LANDSCAPE
In the Interchange between movement and spatial scenarios, between different levels of scale, between landscape and buildings is where we find the focal points for our work in this unit. Development of large master plans, urban planning and urban design are the natural outcome of our work in this unit.

HOUSING + BUILDINGS
Continuously optimising industrialized building practices in order to develop new types of archi -tecture that comply to the needs of the inhabitants is our goal in the HOUSING + BUILDINGS unit.

RESEARCH + COMMUNICATION
Research and presentation of central questions within urbanity and architecture are the main tasks of the department and are always deeply integrated in the offices other working areas. The department presents the activities and research results of the office and is also responsible for the internal knowledge sharing and communication.

The office was established in 1983 and is a private limited company owned by Helle Juul, Architect MAA, Ph.D. and Flemming Frost, Architect MAA.
The office has 28 employees and the yearly turnover exceeds 3.6 million Euros. Throughout the last 5 years the office has been responsible for more than 1460 dwellings and commercial facilities with construction costs exceeding 300 million Euros.
